Our offices are located in the heart of historic Amesbury in a building known as The Old Post. Single or co-working office suites are available within the building's three floors.
Conveniently, located in Essex Country, within minutes of both I-95 and I-495, the southern New Hampshire border as well as 40 miles north of Boston, we are the perfect location for either a primary or secondary office location.
Amesbury lies along the northern banks of the Merrimack River and is bordered by Salisbury to the east, Newburyport to the southeast, West Newbury to the southwest, Merrimac to the west, and South Hampton, New Hampshire, to the north. The Powwow River bisects the town, joined by the Back River near the town center. Other cities that are easily accessible from Amesbury include Seabrook, NH, Newton, NH, Hampton and North Hampton, NH, Rye, NH, Hampton, NH, Newton, NH, Haverhill, MA, and Ipswich, MA
The 100 Main Street building, located in Amesbury, Northern Essex County, was built in 1905 as the post office for the city. It was during this time that the automobile industry was becoming the major economic force in town. Being located in the town's central business district, it was the perfect location and served the city for many years until the new post office building was constructed and opened in the 1978. This building is considered a neoclassical structure that features Flemish Bond brick walls with prominent limestone trim including roof balustrade, modillioned cornice, and keystoned window and entrance surrounds. The central pediment portico is supported on a pair of Scamozzi Columns.
This building in an example of official Federal Government architecture and was designed by James Knox Taylor. Signed, original plans still reside in the building as of this day. The building was converted into office space after the new post office was constructed on Main Street in 1978. 100 Main Street now provides the city of Amesbury and its surrounding cities with twenty four (24) private office and co-working spaces. The building transitioned to new management in 2020. As quoted from one lessee, " I love my space here. You all really do office space the right way."
